Christmas can be a difficult time of the year for many people, this can be due to a number of reasons including isolation, family traditions or pressures, loss, illness, financial burden, loneliness, or being away from loved ones. Inclusion of others and even the smallest acts of kindness can make a huge difference to a persons mental health and well-being.
This year we had to make the difficult decision to take down a tree in the prairie. Wanting to celebrate the life of this tree and hoping to bring a little joy to others, the Christmas tree was gifted to our local community Saint Mars Sur La Futaie. The tree stands next to the church, and visitors and villagers can enjoy its Christmas cheer.
