We have been busy making new signage!
This recycled piece of oak has made the perfect canvas for our signs, cut to size, and lightly sanded. The signage should help our guests find their way around, improving accessibility and overall experience. After playing around with fonts and scale, I traced the printed text. I then used an exterior chalk based paint and applied with a very fine brush. Little drying time was required, once the tin of varnish had been opened, the paint was dry and the sign was ready to be varnished.
TIP: I find that carbon paper makes shorter work than tracing paper, simply place under the text, and trace once.
